Trailride - A Dream Come True
On Saturday, May 26th David and I rode with Sherri and Billy Goss on a great trail in the Ozark National Forest north of Dover. We then had a nice picnic. The dream that Sherri and I shared for a couple of years now was to get our husbands on our own horses on a nice trailride with us and to share in the beauty of the forest.
Some of the photos are a bit blurry. We had more fun and didn't worry too much about perfection with the cameras.
Hope you enjoy the slideshow.
David rode Joe, Deborah rode Ayla, Sherri rode Sash, and Billy rode Dahlia.
A dream come true.

David's first trip home from his new job in Tulsa was pretty much spent taking care of our pets. Text needed a doghouse because he sits by the back door rain or shine, so David picked it out, brought it home, and tried it out. No "in the doghouse" jokes please.
He also spent a long time working on the barn getting it ready to take care of the horses for the winter.

On October 9th, 1976, David and I were wed at Calloway Gardens chapel.
We bought a baldcypress to plant in our yard on our 30th anniverary. This tree will live a very long time. I think planting a tree is one of the most hopeful things people can do.
